This is my second portrait-style painting and was painted in sepias and umbers. This was commissioned by her mama and is about Alex who loves to write stories. I wrote the first part of one of her stories into her dress. It is about Lexy who lives in an apple tree. It was an absolute pleasure to paint.Measures 75cm X 75cm

I'm rather proud of this one. She just turned out gorgeous. I think she would look stunning on any kind of wall....modern or otherwise. She is a serene soul with a lovely face and has a lovely piece of lace(garter belt) on her wee dress.

Therapy: When agitated, angry or annoyed at someone(s)just paint a picture. I thought of this when cross at a certain local business and began to laugh and laugh. Soon as I started painting it, all negative feelings just dissolved. I have no problem

Yes well I guess some of you have figured out that I went to Catholic school. (Wasn't called St Catherines though) At secondary we had great fun in posing and strutting and pretending to be on the catwalk. The uniform is not far off what we wore.
